1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Vently, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

Vently is a social events platform. You must provide accurate information and maintain account security. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, fraud, abuse, or legal risk.

Vently is available to users who are 18 years of age or older. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to a user under 18, we will terminate that account and delete the associated information.

3. Community Conduct

You agree not to engage in harassment, discrimination, fraud, spam, unauthorized solicitation, or any activity that harms people, events, or platform security. We may investigate and take enforcement action at our discretion.

4. Events and Content

Event details, capacity, pricing, and eligibility may change. Your content remains yours, but you grant Vently a license to host and display it for service operation. You are responsible for content you submit.

5. User Safety and In-Person Meetings

Vently is designed to help you discover local events and connect with other people who want to attend them. Because Vently connects you with people you may not know, we want to be straightforward about a few things.

Vently does not conduct background checks on users, event hosts, or organizers. We do not vet, endorse, or take responsibility for other users, event hosts, venues, or third-party events discovered through the app. The people and events you find on Vently are independent of us, and we cannot verify the accuracy of any information they provide.

You are responsible for your own safety when meeting other users or attending events you find through Vently. We encourage you to exercise the same reasonable caution you would in any situation where you are meeting people for the first time: meet in public places, let someone know your plans, and trust your instincts.

6. Disclaimers and Liability

Vently is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and limit liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

7. SMS Program Terms

If you opt in to receive SMS messages from Vently, you agree to the Vently messaging program. Opting in to SMS messages from Vently is not a condition of using the app or any of its features. You may use Vently fully without providing your mobile number or consenting to receive messages. For details on how we handle your mobile number and messaging preferences, see our Privacy Policy at vently.com/privacy. Vently sends text messages about upcoming events, RSVPs, account support, and other service-related updates. Message frequency varies based on your activity. Reply HELP for help and reply STOP to end. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
